I will stick my witch broom into this discussion to say that I prefer to use my
delete button instead of having strict acceptance rules. If someone is very
unruly and gets on your nerves than it is up to the list generalissmo. I am on
several other lists where I mostly delete, delete, (especially the Nancy Drew
'little sleuth' list) I came around the Ghetto mostly to see caver friends and
the folk singers, the politics. I enjoyed being at the UT because it was so
big, good libraries, lots of good speakers, lots of interesting classes to take,
concerts, movies, parties, the chuckwagon-in short I found it difficult to be in
one place too long. I, too like Jim enjoy the gossip on this list, it is such
an amazing way of keeping up with people and remembering all that stuff,
 Carolyn
