Clearly the answer is right there before us: the Bar Code. No, not Miss
Manners recommendations on how not to throw up on your date at the local
pub, but those little stripey things that adorn most commercial
transactions.
Everyone gets one. Right across the forehead. Hats and caps will have to
become illegal, of course. Failure to keep your hair cut short would be at
least a misdemeanor crime. Shouldn't be too hard to do. Would make tattoo
parlors a new growth industry.
Wow. Capitalism can solve all problems!!!

Wayne--Hey, little Kory is just a high school kid-- leave him alone, you
big bully! Serious, though, the absurdity of leaving "average people" out of
surveillance is that terrorists try their best to look and act like "average
people." So if you are going to have intrusive surveillance, you have to
honor everyone's civil rights-- or just about no one's. Where do we draw the
line? Any ideas out there?
