I read the recent book by a David Krum
recounting his recent stint as a speech writer 
for Bush

Krum turns out to be a published author arguing
from an extreme right wing attitude

there is a photo in the book of Bush flanked by
Powell and Rumsfeld, seated at a table all three 
of their heads bowed in silent prayer. Powell 
and Rumsfeld's miens seemed "sincere", at least 
they were poker faced

Rumsfeld is in it for the excitement. Powell is
in it because he enjoys showing off how well he 
can speak extemporaneously from a prepared 
position. Powell becomes comprehensible when it
is realized that after 40 years in military/
government service he doesnt believe in anything

is Bush sane? as the guy said, depends on how
you define sane

Krum said that bible study classes are well
attended in the White House. can you imagine
bible study at the White House?
