Richard Perle, Bush's right-hand hawk

Bubba and Connie,
May I suggest the March 17 New Yorker which has the article by Seymour Hersh
which has apparently undone Mr. Perle's latest attempt at public service.
Perle is a bonafide war criminal thanks to his service under the Reagan
administration involving Nicaragua and the Contras. He retreated to one of
the infamous right wing think tanks during the Clinton years and resurfaced
with the appointment (not election) of Bush. Now he has been caught with his
hand in the till and his prediction that "the Iraqi regime will fall apart
like an old tree that is rotten within as soon as the first shot is fired"
has once again proven that he is just a gutless right wing windbag with no
clue to reality.
Note that he is still on the board of the Defense Policy group altho no
longer the chairman. I will admit that the very mention of his name tempts
me to use the most vulgar and demeaning words in my limited vocabulary. If
there was any justice in this world he would be in the cell next to Slobodan
Milosevic, on the same row as Henry Kissinger.
Gerry
