it is a hole week now since i daytripped to SA
by Greyhound.

i was met at the SA bus station by Joe and Ceci
Martinez before noon and whisked away to La
Fonda restaurant. Joe who is 75 and recovering
from multiple heart operations said - I think
I see a woman I know, i dint turn around as
that would be rude, and Terrelita sat down
next to me. we 4 lunched long into the afternoon
so i face to faced with Terrelita for many hours.

Joe knew I planned to phone Terrelita so the
cool dude invited her to join us at the restaurant.
what a guy!

the 6:20 bus back to Austin got in early, again
non-stop around 1 h 30 minutes, bus half full and
very loud as bored travelers noodled on their cell
phones. and the Red River #15 bus was a block away
its bus stop across the street from the Austin bus
station right when got to the bus stop after
exiting the Greyhound bus. this is behind Highland
Mall if you've never been there. spoiled as i was
by the easy leg from San Antonio to Austin, it
seemed like the Red River bus took ever so long to
get from Highland Mall, into and out of the HEB on
41st street & Red River, downtown on San Jacinto,
pull a right at 11th, pull a left at Congress, and
down Congress to 7th where i get off.

trotted home with still some light in sky

now that's day tripping! my roommate has our car
on Wednesdays
