I get the feeling that tonight's Threadgills gig is very much a music scene event. Having been to the last two, I think it is very good for "music pros"
(and that does stand for promoters, as well) to at least make an appearance. I wish I could do more than that, but it would be at risk of alienating my employer, whom I may have to beg to work for again in the year 2005. I'm bringing a few John Clay and the Lost Austin Band "antique" LPs. The cover, poetry on the back and photos are worth the ten bucks asking price.
