4 US soldiers blown up in Iraq today

Considering that in WWII, the USA used to use "flails" mounted to the front
of Sherman Tanks to destroy mines, I don't understand why, with all of our
gd technology, something can't be done to defeat this sort of shit.  Robot
trucks or old Iraqi tanks.  This is stupid.
