Only encountered one tiny demonstration and only one beggar, who looked like a hippie "acting the part." Yet it does sound like modern German capitalism is on the same track as the US, with more and more outsourcing and attempts being made to cut back on social benefits of the past. Hope you guys manage to pull out of the current slump--I wouldn't like to be unemployed in Berlin, with prices so high !</DIV>
