<P>Mike-- I&nbsp; always had it cold (Japan gets pretty cold in the winter, which probably why the "hot saki"&nbsp;custom got started).&nbsp;The Indonesian rice wine that I had &nbsp;&nbsp;tasted&nbsp;less refined &nbsp;and a little sweeter&nbsp;than&nbsp;most &nbsp;saki, although there are a lot of varieties of saki I haven't tasted. By the way, the best saki I've had is from a little company down on Fourth Street in Berkeley-- they make a lot of different flavors, and the stuff is smooth and goes down easy.Of course it's a lot cheaper than Japanese saki, which is plus for me.</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;The wine you have been/are drinking in
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Indonesia, is this a rice wine like saki?
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Do the drinkers drink it hot, like saki?
