> Michael-- I am proud to say I didn't brown-nose a bit. I just opened my
mailbox one day and it was filled with ghetto2 posts. I didn't bother to ask
why or to make any conciliatory remarks. The same people who didn't read my
posts before don't read them now, and I haven't heard any responses from
Jim Strong, so maybe he has me on his personal "blocked" list.

> The virus thing you mention has been going on on that list too, and most
are upset about it, particularly if the virus "seems" to come from a good
friend. I forgot to update my virus settings for a couple of weeks and found
I had five nasties on my hard-drive, so they're coming from all over!

So your regnant getto2 kobold sends out brain farts towards those he/she
loves least. Though I am not subscribed there, I apparently am an unloved
referent in the virus sender's cerebellum. Others are or have been Jon
Ford, Wayne Johnson, and Powell St. John. 5 recent brain farts to Jon,
2 to me (purporting to come from Wayne Johnson & Stephanie - why them?).

Nosy question about getto2: are there recent posts there from Phil Desenex?

on another subject, the computer i am trying to assemble is still SNAFU.
Waiting for replacement RAM.

the Lord willing and if the creek dont rise, we will be spending June '05
in an apartment in Paris France near the Luxemburg Gardens. what to
take! what to do! the last time we were there we went all the way out to
St. Denis where we had hoped to go into the crypt and see the tombs
of the Carolingian kings from the middle ages, this being a complicated
subway adventure.

Lo and behold, when we got there, there was a pencilled note on a
piece of paper taped to the crypt entrance which is inside the church
that the custodians of it were on strike in solidarity with the
transportation strike planned for later in the day. But there are upsides
to everything. Going home on the subway, the crypt unvisited, everyone
was waved through the entrance without having to pay the fare.
