Ghetto, this old house

Hmmmmm.  The local temperature is now up to 18 F from its morning low of 8 
F.  Wind chill around zero this morning.

I thought that sharing this information with you would be of some 
considerable comfort to you and others living, as you do, along the Texas 
Riviera.

On the other hand, what could be cheerier than the dulcet aroma of wood 
burning in the downstairs fireplace?  (Star Jasmine is Not a good answer
