CONNIE OR ANYONE,

Tell me what to do with loquats, I probably have about 100 lbs. of them 
ready to go. I know what Herschberger would do with them.

I'll tell you what can be done with loquat fruits, other than have kids 
eat them right off the tree - if you can tell me what to do with the 
taro root and leaves.  I have a lot of it growing in my pond bog.  Mine 
is the pretty black (sort of purple really) -leafed variety.  Will it 
be edible, or do I need a particular kind of taro.
