sniped and failed

Some bidders use a service for which they pay $4.00 or so a month which enables
them to snip at the very last second a bid of a $1.00 over anyone else's bid. I
seldom win an auction when I am not around to place bid myself. Sometimes I am
suspicious of bids inthat I think the seller might be bidding so I look at bid
history.
sorry you didn't get it, but there will be a another chance to spend $$$$$
