SUPPORTING CINDY SHEEHAN, TOO

Right on, sister. I'll bet that about right now Cindy Sheehan is being arrested, imagine the clips this'll make--film at 11:00. I'm with ya' all the way, Cindy.
Another web site that is encouraging Sheehan and keeping us up to speed on the story is <oped.com> They are covering it.
I found another hot political tip for feminists at that site--the skinny on Chuck Pennacchio who is running for the Demo nomination in the Penn primary this spring. The winner of this one will go up against incumbent Rick Santorum for senator in the fall. I was so impressed with Pennacchio's credentials that I sent him $10, and that's big-time-admiration on my part, being a SS recipient and all. 
In other political scuttlebutt I also plan to support Chris Bell for the Democratic candidacy taking on Gov. Goodhair this fall. His formal announcement and campaign kick off rally is on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 2:00 pm on UT campus at the foot of the MKL statue near 23rd and San Jacinto. He's a proud alum.
When Chris Bell spoke as a virtual unknown to some 200 Deaniac-style Democrats in Meetup at Scholz Garten in the Spring he got a standing ovation from the entire room. He is smart and focused and respects the electorate enough to tell the truth. That's a new political gambit for sure in these times. Unlike the Kinkster, I feel sure he voted many times in the last ten years, even in the US House of Representatives where he represented Harris County. His district was carved up by the Deadly Delay Political SWAT team with the Redistricting juggernaut we witnessed in the Texas Legislature. It's get even time.
