Mike-- You might be right about Kinky, although I know several spinsterish 
women (the stereotypical old maid school teachers) whose only companion is a 
cat or "mini-dog." Does this make them closet lesbians? I think there are 
people who are sort of sexually neutral or neuter without  necesarily being 
gays in the closet. I like Alfred Kinsey's view of sexuality, that it's a 
continuum from highly hetero all the way to highly gay, with many stages in 
between.
