I have faith in the Ace Hardware here aka Breed and Co. The guys who work there are intelligent, experienced and have never steered me wrong. It's certainly smaller than Home Depot but a lot easier to shop at.
  My gym is right next to the AmTrak terminal here, reminds me of Eugene and you.

oh yes indeed,  we got 3 of the buggers,

you know what i miss the most, the old fashioned hardware stores where someone could help you figure out what was wrong and then show you how to fix it.  oh well,
