Gosh, Frances.
I am for the death penalty. For instance - Tom DeLay.

MIke,
You've got it! You have brought up an interest which we have in common--true-crime-scene-information. Should RE be for the Death Penalty I'll have to be against him too. You are welcome to come visit me at 21 Waller St. #1510. The #22 bus comes right to the front door. (Isaac arrives at 4:00 p.m. and I like to go to the gym at some point.) The view is spectacular.
I am "off" tomorrow. Recently I've been increasingly busy with new jobs, Isaac, gardening and census-taking-training, ongoing and starting soon, respectively.
There was a recent tv-zine segment about the absurdity of confessions gotten by incessant interrogation, suggestion and intimidation for hours and days on end. That kind of evidence harks back to the days of dipping witches in the river for the "Truth."

Connie,
I have it on good authority (i just made it up) that he is going back into
the bug bidness.
As for Ronnie Earle, I wouldnt vote for him if he were the last man on the
planet.
If i were to meet him, i would ask him how he got someone sentenced to death
on
no evidence presented in court except a withdrawn confession. This is for
the
Yoghurt Shop murders. That was the most gruesome murder in the history of
Austin. The details of the killings were never made public but I know why
they
were never made public because a friend of mine, Jerry Hier, who used to
bartend
at the original Soap Creek, and who lives just down the street from Anderson
Lane,
and is very street wise, found out and shared it with me. Thanks a lot,
Jerry. I also
met someone else who knew. I dont think it is an Urban Legend. It is too
gruesome
to repeat on this forum and i wouldnt want to tell you face to face, that's
how
gruesome it was.
So even the sainted Ronnie Earle is too chicken shit not to go along with
executing a man without evidence. The case is on appeal and i would venture
a guess will be thrown out ultimately.
Mike
