I couldn't agree more about Gore and Kerry but those were...like GWB and his old man...peas from the same gd NE Conn/NY/Mass pod.  One of the blessings of Bill Clinton was that he was NOT from the NE, nor California nor Texas nor NY.  It is simply inconceivable that no one exists as a viable candidate....West of the GD Hudson or without the direct blessing of either Bechtel or Halliburton.  

No one available from Illinois or Utah or Oregon or New Mexico or West VA or Nebraska?  Come On!

People's so-called "opinions" are mostly formed...if they can be said to have any kind of informed opinion whatsoever...by what they see on the national news.  Christ, half the American population would vote for Daffy Duck if he/it promised to lower taxes.

Come to think of it, they already have.

The recipients of the largesse didn't even know where the monies came from, (or so they said.) Senator Clinton is not on a Kamakazi mission, she is a member of the US Senate and as such she must pick her battles and act with decorum even in the heat of battle. Decorum there defines decorum. Gore and Kerry were so imbued with it that they were practically catatonic during their presidential campaigns. If nominated, I'll bet HRC takes off the kid gloves and dons boxing gloves, maybe even ones with horseshoes hidden inside.

    I really dislike people who "smile" and act with "gracious diplomacy". We are in the mess we are in because everyone political is running around "playing kissy face" with the facists currently in power.  Now that GWB's rating are headed down hill, even his own party is trying to "turn battleships in the Bay".

      As I read it, Bush had allocated "billions" to NYC after his 9-11 enabling act, and Senator Clinton had graciously accepting same on behalf of her constituency.
