[AGL] My man ONLY-in-the-next Texas Monthly

Sorry Harry and Wayne,
Capitalism trumps information, early bird got the worm, and then was cut in favor of the Texas Monthly, whose story it is. The idea, I suppose, is that you must go out and buy a copy of the magazine if you want to read it. I can't get it now, either, even to cut and paste. It was a flattering and hopeful article suggesting that the conservative ranks are divided and that the Democrat has a good chance of winning, without a run-off. Perry's numbers are sliding, Strayhorn appears more and more petulant, Kinky attracts new voters not particularly aligned with either party. It looks to be a race that is up for grabs.
Connie, what is Bell really like, from a Houston pov? My fellow election workers reported that he looked weak when he spoke before an Austin Dem group. That was opposite of my impression, and apparently everyone in the room, when I heard him at Scholz Garten early on in the campaign, right before he announced, and had the entire audience up on their feetin a standing ovation after his talk.
  Best,
  Frances
