[AGL] Becky Threadgil nostaligic trip - Threadgil cook book

Most likely a creation of Eddie Wilson, PR genius. As all Austinites know he has kept the Threadgill saga alive, running two "Threadgill's" restaurants (one on the lot where the Kenneth had his service station/beer joint) filled with memorabilia. The food ain't bad either altho it has nothing to do with what Kenneth might have cooked, home-cooking-veggie dishes are the main faire. He (Eddie) loves to play up the Janis connection.

In an odd coincidence (referring to the Dead Famous Threadgil bit), my daughter brought me a library book - the Threadgil cook book. I was very astonished to see pages of Jack Jackson's cartoon biography of Mr. Threadgil, and lots of pics of Janis. In a book in San Leandro, California! If perchance you have not seen this cook book - get ahold of it!!! Clementine.

Had a real life Threadgill nostalgia tour. Phil and Victor Sterzing and I had dinner with Becky Threadgill, Kenneth's daughter at the original Threadgill's last week. The Sterzings knew her from childhood and I just met her. She is delightful--lives here at RBJ.

Yes, he didn't have the best voice, but good voices don't always mean bad
    singers.
