[AGL] troops ready, but israel bets on air power

On the nightly news it was reported that Lebanese citizens who were at first
blaming Hezbolah for the Israeli inflicted damage, have changed their tone.
With the continued carnage from the air they are overwhelmingly condemning
Israel...and supporting Hezbolah. Has anyone seen Richard Perle running
around Tel Aviv? Shock and awe?

Once again Israel destroys Lebanon while the world watches from afar. W and
Condie explain that the new Lebanon (presumably to follow the destruction of
the current one which was built on the ashes of the previous one which was
built on the ashes of the previous one, etc.) will be a pillar of democracy
in the Middle East...yeah sure, with the whole country now supporting
Hezbola...like the democracy now thriving in Iraq. Israel will destroy the
current rocket stash, go home, and then the new rocket stash will start
arriving from Iran. Very bad news for everyone except the rocket
manufacturers. Will the Israeli army invade? Of course they will. No other
way to root out the missiles. New Moon next week, ideal time for an
invasion.

Back in the '50's I used to think that one day I would visit North Korea. I
presumed that one day the hate would dissipate and relations would
normalize. Fat chance. Same as Israel/Lebanon. It will not end in my
lifetime. No longer concerned, except for the children who will spend their
lives hating and fearing the enemy next door. What a way to live, huh?
