Henry Holman memorial was at the Saengerrunde
Hall, yesterday, next door to the Scholz Garten.

The Holman twins and their sister Harriet spoke
about Henry. Gonzalo Barrientos claimed that
Henry was responsible for his, Gonzalo's, political
career. Pat Holman corrected him explaining
that Gonzalo's political career had thrived despite 
Henry's support. 

Henry was master of many sayings. The best
new one to me last night was Henry's remark
after viewng a carpentry error concerning a missing 
piece of sheet rock in a new wall committed by 
his crew: "Son.You just shot the last whore in 
Waxahatchie."

I thought i had been less than kind to describe
Henry as specializing in coffee breaks, but that
aspect of the man was thoroughly addessed in
Pat and Mike's remembrances.
