[AGL] question for Karen

Karen,

You are paid up, then, for a number of years
for the domain name www.texasghetto.com.

Do I have that right? Or are you paying for it
year by year?

When this domain name registration expires, you
might consider changing its name to www.austin-ghetto.net
The extension .net is much more exact than .com which is
meant to identify commercial Web sites selling stuff.
It will also be easier for folks to find who are interested
in knowing about Austin ghetto daze.

If you are looking for a server to host it, i recommend
Pair.com. They charge $4.95 a month for a basic FTP
account and $1 a month for each domain name hosted.
They now can renew the domain name when it expires.

I had suggested that since i already have a Pair.com
basic FTP account, and you already own the name,
it would cost only $12 a year to have them host it
through my account. Some big shot could surely be
found to come up with the $12 a year. You could
FTP the pages up into Internet space logging in with
my user name and password.

Or, you could probably put it up free somewhere as a
blog or in wiki format. There is a free Ragstaff blog in
Internet space which represents the Rag folks, a
parallel community to ghettoistas.

Think of all the folks who daily try to access the
Ghetto site it and go away disappointed.

Mike
