John,
These are wonderful and I would love to have a set. But my pitiful dial-up would make downloading them all take the better part of the afternoon. I have learned a technique of using picasa to make web pages that make viewing photos in the email much easier than by attachment. I learned about it mostly through trial and error using picasa, which is a free version of photoshop offered by google. I know there are more John Clay pictures that could be added to the web site from time to time, and that is another doable feature.
John Clay was one of the few "actors" of the period and consequently was he was often doing something for the focus of the ubiquitous cameras back then. Bob Simmons has a lot of recorded history in his snapshot collection, too.
Things have gotten even crazier with all the digital cameras, camera phones and "yourtube" streaming. It's worth the experiment to figure out how to use it for making web sites as well as for filing, storing and sending your own pictures. I like to add fill-light and sometimes recrop to fill the frame, too.
At concerts these days, there are more lit up camera phone screens in the darkened hall than there were bic lighters back a decade or so.
Best,
Frances

Attached are photos which I took at a party in the Ghetto in May, 1962. Most are of John Clay. John was reciting a poem that he had just written.
