[AGL] Old Girls lunch

Years ago Betty Burkhalter christened the group of friends (who tried to  
meet at least once a year) the "Old Girls" after the British grads of youth  
schools who call themselves the Old Boys.  Other members of the group have  felt 
that "Good Old Girls" was a good Texas kind of "fit" so it doesn't matter  what 
ya call us - but ya doesn't have ta call us Ray...oh, that was another  
schtick.  Hey, we are meeting again and it would be cool if anyone who  wants to 
would meet at Luby's on Steck and MoPac, Saturday, December 30th  around noon.  
Our ranks have thinned so terribly that there may not be many  there but a few 
oldtimers will be there to wave the banner of friendship.   Packy, Michaek 
E., James?  Y'all gonna be there?
 
Anne Huddleston has been ill and may not be able to travel this year and  
Betty B. is a bit frail. Anyone who is in town might consider coming out to  
swell our ranks...hey that sounds kind of fun, yes?
