Alas, the urge to make beauty is stronger sometimes than the urge for
short-term survival....otherwise life would be a dull sentence. Make some
beautiful pictures and forget about the rest...and be thankful that you are
not snowbound as are many of us in North America.

Must be the season (Venus transiting through Pisces). I just bought an
Armstrong alto flute for what is a princely sum to me (my South American
vacation money...).  The richness of the sound brings a DEEP pleasure, and
it is here everyday to play with.
