Sunday unrolled Dave's Ghetto party at his house. Old timers John Clay and
Wally Stopher were there among other ghettoites and AGL subscribers such as
Pat Brown & paramour Dave Stark, Don Taylor, Bob Simmons, Dave M., Fontaine,
Karen Willis, Lorelei Bella Brown, Frances Morey, Packy, others. Many
handsome tall bearded men: Don Taylor, David Stark, neighbor Tom ? (there
with his paramour). Pat Brown opined that all her boyfriends had had face
hair. Dave complained that the Red Bluff street neighborhood was fucked: you
could even come upon young white women late at night walking their dogs
alone. Packy suggested the Texas coast as our bolthole, we laughed. A punky
spot on the deck elicited a discussion of Wolmanized wood.Sand shoals down
river were pointed out as where frat rats sport. The weather overcast with
some wind. Later the frogs commenced croaking. The party wound down.
I forgot to mention that when we got there Wally and Bob Simmons urged me to
reconcile with them. Of course I agreed, Wally even gave me a hippy hug. Bob
wore a beautiful dark blue silk shirt with orange tulips low near the belt.
He complained of a $500 cellphone monthly charge his 16 year daughter had
run up. I advised him to get her to stop saying "like" and wind up saving
BIG BUCKS!
