I came across a book entitled "Heretic's Heart" by Margot Adler recently. She is the longtime NPR correspondent often reporting on the NYC scene, good journalist. Unbeknownst to me she was also one of the students arrested in the Free Speech Movement at Berkeley, a Mississippi Summer participant, Viet Nam war protester, and Venceremos Brigade volunteer in Cuba. The girl got around in the '60's. I was quite surprised to read that although we were sometimes in the same place at the same time and on the same side, we had (have) practically nothing else in common. Anyway, I enjoyed the book as a report from the '60's by one who saw it much differently.
