[AGL] true religion on Sunday morning

Listening to Indian ragas on WKCR.org (its Sunday 
morning). The musical changes of the number currently
being played probably contain much of the original 
Hindu ritual sounds from 3000 years ago.

My roommate and I once attended a dance recital of
a travelling Hindu troupe (from Washington state if i
remember aright). We were the only non-Indians in
the audience. Dance recital is a misnomer. It was 
actually several devotions, danced played and sung.
I discovered that Ganesh is NOT an elephant god, he is
a god whose head is that of an elephant. This information 
was in the printed program. The effigy of Him in Apu's
Quicky-Mart  is to be understood literally.
