Is there such a thing as an external DVD player that can go into the computer monitor through a USB cable? My laptop doesn't have the DVD player feature and I understand that it is very expensive to add it.

We used to sell dvd players that could play PAL as well as the kind
we use here. I can investigate, but I think we stopped because the
newer versions of dvd players couldn't be altered like that.
