[AGL] receiving THE RAG BLOG and other mail

dear Mike and maybe Thorne and others,

I do like the Rag Blog and received it somehow this time.  I had disabled email from the ghetto2 list since I am in a crunch to get a lot of work done, as well as holiday related things.  Much of my time on g2 is usually spent deleting (duplicates all over the place)  sometimes the 80+ daily emails in my box feel like too much work to sort thru to find choice writings of which there are many.  I do want to hear from my g2 e-friends (as they have been for a while now btw we're due for some face time), but I'm enjoying the break, and have allowed agl (original ghetto list) posts and shared one picture post as Mike alluded to, spurred by the knowledge that ME digs aviation topics. 

After the holidays I'll get back on g2.  But for now, thanks to anyone on agl for any discussions, rants or news of friends. and thanks for the Rag Blog.

I am currently interested in American torture revelations/news - I want to rub it in to my right wing Christian conservative relatives who were so wrong to support GW.

as i said you okayed my being unsubscribed depriving
me of a forum to express myself. it doesnt reflect
well on you and your professed ideals. it certainly
gives the lie to your pretending to like me.

Just a note of clarification. First, I didn't remove Mike from the mds mailing list. Second, The Rag Blog has absolutely no connection with mds, is co-edited by me and Richard Jehn who lives in Washington state and whose opinions differ from mine on many points, and the Rag Blog runs many articles with which I substantially disagree. We do have a point of view, of course, but our material spans a range of progressive viewpoints.

A further note: this mailing went to some addresses that don't normally receive Rag Blog digests because I'm having trouble sending these mailings from my primary email site and this time sent from my back-up (Yahoo) site. I haven't been able to synchronize the mailing lists.

And Margot: I'll mail you separately, but I'm glad this accident got us in touch and you with the Rag Blog.

And I still like Mike, as ornery as he is.
