[AGL] y'all seen any good movies lately?

last night we watched and enjoyed Art 
Carney and Lily Tomlin in The Late Show.

i have proposed that we watch Le quai des
Orfevres a second time before it goes back
to the library. black & white thriller by 
Clouzot - you may have seen his Les diaboloques
with the corpse coming up out of the 
bathtub.

good movies both which makes me think
of an even better flic, Angels in America,
actually originally a 4 part made for TV pic,
directed by Mike Nichols. recommended if 
you have been missing the total engagement 
of being drawn into a great movie.

Meryl Streep plays the mother of young
Mormon Wall Street lawyer who has 
been having sex with Al Pacino as Roy Cohen.

but better Ms Streep also plays the ghost of 
Ethyl Rosenberg at the deathbed of Roy
Cohen, Cohen having helped to send
the Rosenbergs to the electric chair. 

i have seen Ms Streep the ultimate chameleon
in many movies, but the Ethyl Rosenberg
cameo . . .  wow, zowie!
