The letters are short for Carmen Austin, formerly Carmen Conlyn (sp?). She is retired, lived in Austin for many years, and now she lives in North Texas to be near her daughter. 
The man ME shot looked more annoyed than "stink" eyed. I try to ask permission before I shoot anyone. The APD is really cracking down on jaywalkers since there have been a number of accidental jay walking deaths.
