This is good to know, Connie, about dropbox. Gretchen is having to give up her
iphone (giving it back to the "friend" she shared a plan with), and is grieving
the pending loss of all her pictures.

Subject: [AGL] picture taking
Mike and all,
you mentioned a few weeks ago that we should all be carrying around a camera
everywhere we go. Many of us do, on our cell phones. I took these photos with
the phone camera, and they are decent, except hunkered down vultures in the
neighborhood today, which I had to crop and blow up, because there is no zoom on
the particular samsung galaxy phone camera that I have. It has taken me a while
to find out how to transfer photos from the phone to my computer picture folder.
I used something called 'Dropbox' (web site) that helps share photos from
various digital devices
Picture taking is so ubiquitous among young and old armed with these swell
little cameras, that there is a 'social network' web site that is solely for the
showing off of one's pictures to ones' friends. Instagram. I am new to it, so
do not know the details: invite friends, but there is no news feed, blah blah,
just pictures. Nevertheless, I am happy to share and receive via email to this
private list. Keep them coming.
We were in Gonzales when we came across the beautiful vintage car. It had been
recently purchased from a collector and driven down from San Antonio, topping
out at 65 mph, owner said. Is this too much in one email? It says that I have
more MB, but I am wondering how the email arrives, or crashes. I have a couple
more shots of the car.
