I always wanted to make a film about the time they dammed up the Guadalupe
to fill the Lake (I have to get onto Google Earth to get the name -
Old-Timer's Disease). Canyon Lake, that's it.

Lovey-dovey couple are out in a houseboat on the lake when the motor gives
out and they have to paddle. Then it seems the thing has sprung a leak.

They head for one of the tiny hilltops that are rapidly turning into
islands, as the water rises, and just manage to beach the houseboat before
it sinks.

Trouble is, all the local wildlife has gradually been forced uphill by the
rising waters, particularly... the rattlers. And they are not happy about
it. And the island is buzzing...
