Now that they know that the fish buffet is open I feel sure they will be back. Maybe you could get a fake owl to put out there. I hear that they have them now with eyes that move to discourage your feathered fish predators.

Today I went out to feed my pond goldfish and found that the population of about 30+ (4" sized) was reduced to about, I think I saw 3. The pond has been there for more than 10 years and this is the first time this has happened. I will have to go back to the pet store and score a few more. The little fish do a great job on mosquito larvae.
