[AGL] RIP Daryl Rutherford thc

Ah youth. It was good. Glad I had it.

I wrote that wrong. Daryl and I were sweet on each other.  I asked about the Jason person because in the news article it said they were friends. now corrected for clarity.


Anyone know anything about the death of Daryl? I’m shocked and sad.
I was just googling him-this is the only thing I can find besides his picture from 50 years ago when he was drummer for the Conqueroo. no obituary, no names of murderers, no trial, no survivors-tho I know he had son born in the late 60’s- no newspaper reports of the crime.. . Daryl and I were sweet on each other the summer of ’66. 
 and does anyone know the Jason Wakefield who is quoted in this article?

On another sad note, if you've been watching the unfolding saga of the two men who were just apprehended for the beating death of Darryl Rutherford in Wimberly two months ago, I've just been informed that the victim of that crime was better known as "Zeke" Rutherford, drummer for the Conqueroo. Jason Wakefield, a friend of Rutherford's, described him as "a peaceful, loving man, who didn't deserve to get beaten to death for his old truck. If they'd asked for it, he would've given it to them."
