The corporate controlled networks spare us the knowledge that both parties are part and parcel of the same capitalist system, fooling the electorate into thinking that they have any say in what passes for representational democracy:

"Okay, that's it, the election show is over now, go back to your own concerns--move along, nothing to see..."

The irony is that the media placed one of their own in office and it backfired. The public pays attention, to every little proclamation coming out of Trump's mouth--now written up, signed and enshrined in a leather binding. He proudly holds them up for all the see.
The public now shows up in person to demonstrate against these impulsive quixotic edicts. Eisenhower compared the way one's orders were followed in the military to the inexplicable ignorance towards orders in the White House, as if mired in molasses. 
But scaredy cat bureaucracies under Trump are actually trying to follow his orders. It doesn't appear to be business as usual. I'm on my way to becoming a political party dropout.

Population of US in 1963 (=GhettoDaze), 169 million. Population in 2016, 324 million. We've all noticed the vast improvement between then and now.
