[AGL] Fwd: H-E-B Curbside: Order Ready for Delivery

The close  HEB is in Uvalde 100 mile round trip. Del Rip is 190 miles round
trip. The good HEB is in Kerrville 220 mile round trip.But  I am always
amazed at the employees. I had to educate them about mole sauce. They
mostly have no idea what you are talking about. Most are high school kids.

The wine steward in Fredericksburg is classic. He is knowledgeable. The
wine is cheaper at HEb then at the winery.  The but the clerks in Uvalde
and Del Rio are mostly idiots when it comes to wine unless you want
Thunderbird or Mad Dog 20/20. And how do you order wine on line? No way to
have it delivered. I have to see it. In fact I have to see what I buy
before I buy it with the exception bing books or music but then looking
around you find things you didn't know that you needed. Music you forgot
about or when you saw it you were reminded. I might see something on the
shelf that looks better to that I ordered is worth trying. I mean if you
want Brussel sprouts and they have a rack of them I buy that instead of the
bag. And how about fish? No one in their right mind buys fish without
looking at it and seeing if it is fresh. I can't imagine buying pork ribs
on the phone unless I was an intimate friend of the butcher. Somehow the
concept just doesn't work, just  like Uber and Lyft and food delivery.
Living miles and miles from civilization makes things much more
interesting.
