our new album "spending time on the borderline" is scheduled to be
released may 6th on kung fu; the track listing is up at
www.ozmaonline.com. the enhanced section of the CD will feature live
performance video, studio documentary footage filmed by our friend
mickey stern, along with mp3s of the japanese translation of our song
"utsukushii shibuya," our acoustic version of "denise," and some of the
"commuter music" melodic improvisations that ryen and i like to do on
our casio CT-700. we're going to shoot a music video for "bad dogs"
later this month. feels great to have it all finally in the bag after
so many months/years of hard work and anticipation. i hope these songs
will mean as much to you as they do to us. if you'd like a sample,
www.ozmafans.com has an exclusive mp3 of an unmixed version of
"gameover." we put this version of the song on a sampler CD kung fu was
sending to european distributors last december - meaning we weren't even
finished recording it, so the album version is a little different.
maybe we'll throw a couple tracks up on mp3.com when the time is right.
cheers and prayers for peace everywhere,
daniel, star, jose, ryen, & pat
p.s. this week is an absolutely crucial time for international relations
and the future of america's status in the global community. if we (the
US) march blindly into war with iraq on behalf of the corporate fascists
who run our government, we will break our long standing "no first
strike" policy, violate international law, and create tensions with most
of our current allies. the killing of innocent citizens (to further
bush's big oil agenda) is not a solution to any problem. be vocal for
peace when the opportunity presents itself. visit www.commondreams.org
and www.truthout.com to find out what's really about to go down.
