[Jacob-list] Showing Sheep

That's not the reason I don't show. I have three other reasons, one is the risk of my animals contracting diseases, and then there's the time, expense, and distance involved. The other is from past experience of abject snobbery at shows. I'm sure Jacobs' breeders are different, but it was enough to put me off.

  A lot of people are against showing sheep because of the push to get the perfect 'show' sheep. In my view, the most important thing about showing, is that it is almost the only opportunity a lot of us have to meet other Jacob owners and have a chance to exchange ideas and compare sheep ( other than the Jacob_List, of course!)
