[Jacob-list] Reuniting Rams

Heather,

It has been our experience that reuniting rams after breeding season does not work.  The older rams seem to feel unthreatened by the yearlings until they have been used for breeding.  Once they have been with the ewes, they are regarded as competion, and could not hold their own with a more mature ram.  Tobias might tolerate your yearling at this point, but I would not put them back together after you use the younger ram for breeding.
