FW: [Jacob-list] Jacob lilac question

My sister had a ewe with light lilac body markings and black face markings.
Not greying, she was born that way.  I had a lamb born this year (a
"grand-niece" of my sister's ewe) with lilac markings *except* for black
just above the hooves.    Are these "true" lilacs then, or not?  The
genetics of color are fascinating--especially to those of us who don't
really understand them <g>.
