[Jacob-list] Rooster Spurs

   Spurs are like toenails on a dog. You don't want to
cut far enough to get into the quick. I use a pair of
wire cutters and cut about 1/4th to 1/3 of the spurs
off blunt. It is also a good idea to do the toenails
on a rooster too so they don't cut the hens backs up
when mateing.
