Gordon - you mentioned judges dislike freckling - have you had the
experience of seeing sheep who have passed the criteria of no freckles
but developed them later as part of the aging process?   Are the majority
of sheep entered in competitions fairly young, thus no freckling?  Or,
have British & Scottish breeders successfully bred out the freckles?
