[Jacob-list] Keeping Sheep from a Distance

One concern I would have with raising sheep at a
distance is safety. Would someone be nearby to check
on them morning and night? Know you would feed at one
point during the day.
Horned animals can get caught in fences. I had one
break a horn yesterday -- don't know how she did it.
Can't find it anywhere in pasture.
Also, you'll need to be super sure your fence is
strong to protect against predators (dogs, foxes, etc.
especially in lambing season) if there won't be
someone nearby.
I think the idea of turning part of an old dairy farm
to sheep is wonderful! Keep us posted on how it works
out.
