Gary,
I am personally miffed that you have had a foot of rain! We are finally
up to a grand total of 5.5 inches over the past week----and that is with
rain all day long yesterday per my hubby. I didn't get home until
around 9 and know it was raining steadily then.
I spent today sorting 20 sheep, filling out all the JRP papers on them,
and even came up with something new to me once again.... Definite lilac
face, spotting on head and around neck is all the chocolate lilac
version.....spotting on the rest of the fleece area is black. The ewe
is 1 year, so it will be interesting watching her develop. Otherwise,
just lots of excitement with this new flock.
Tomorrow means more work in the evening as the hay trucker is bringing
in 100 bales of alfalfa (first cutting) for me from OH. AHHH.....the
joys of summertime drought, no pasture and sheep I thoroughly enjoy.
Funny thing is that my husband likes them as well.
