Well, for what its worth, I'm with Betty 100% on this one. Maybe its part of
our scrappy New England nature, but I never lock my doors (house or car), I
didn't buy duct tape after 911, I let my son ride his bike without a helmet,
I don't wear seat belts, and I don't test for OPP.  Life will never be
antiseptic, and utopia is not an option, and I often find that the
Regulations and Rules and Tests serve more to make people neurotic, "cover
someone's butt," and/or line someone's pocket than produce actual benefit.

I don't appear to have had any unusual unexplained deaths, but when a sheep
does die, it's an animal, not a friend or a person, and life goes on.
