[Jacob-list] feed recipes

I feed my Jacobs second cutting alfalfa hay and, during the winter, whole 
grain (soy beans last two years, trying corn this year).  The alfalfa gives good 
protein and the grain adds some energy for heat during the cold months.  
Though it may not be the "best scientific formulation", the sheep thrive and give 
me healthy lambs.  Unlike cattle, sheep chew the grain quite well and I don't 
see any undigested kernels coming through.
