[Jacob-list] Just when I thought PETA was bad...

Do we know for sure these are "city people"?  Is it fair to say such a
thing?  Could it be they are people who grew up  on a farm which did abuse
animals and hence are hair trigger sensitive? Could it be they are familiar
with standardized breeds and hence, see the jacobs with their backbones out
and thin like swimmers, and think they are starved?  Could it be not lack of
knowledge, but a little knowledge, always a dangerous thing?  I think that
calling these people "city folks" is being no better than they are: lumping
all of one type into a category in order to condemn.  I have never been a
city folk, but I refuse to lump them together and blame PETA on them.
However,  I am all for education and awareness and checking out legal
possibilities, good suggestions, all.
